demystify health and fitness (and what's actually tripping you up)
so you can feel good in your body without getting caught up in the weeds of Instagram ads for all eternity.
Be the person who no longer thinks they’re “just not cut out for this” and instead sees just how cool and capable their body is.

I've never been able to have so many conversations with a coach about my struggles without feeling guilty, and having you actually help me brainstorm solutions or different steps I could take to re-evaluate situations in the future. -MADISEN
SOUND FAMILIAR?
You'd like to fully grasp WHAT you should eat, HOW MUCH, WHEN, and WHY those foods are good for you.
You've tried and heard of so many ways to get fit and feel ready to say "screw it" to all of it, but decided to give it a last ditch effort. You feel in control of most other areas of life, but understanding your body always feels a little out of reach
You don't understand how you can have food freedom on vacation and still have fun. "Can these things even co-exist?"
Past experiences have you thinking that you just don't have the motivation to follow through and doubting you have what it takes.
Or maybe you’ve actually had a good coaching experience in the past and crave my input and weekly messages and accountability again

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Feel confident that you’ll never “fall off the wagon” again (because is there actually a wagon to fall off of?)
Finally understand how to eat normally, meal plan like a boss, and why you struggled to stick with previous attempts
Be able to spend more mental energy on enjoying the moment instead of battling shame around food choices (you weren't "bad")
Feel more intuitive with what your body needs and HOW to give that to yourself
Gain skills to help you manipulate eating strategies and lifestyle practices for different life seasons and goals
Implement techniques to build self efficacy, mitigate self sabotage, identify emotional eating tendencies, and gain skills to shift the narrative around body image (and more if we're being honest)
Shifting mindset (wut) to how cool the body is - dare I say - a game changer. Still hard days or moments for sure but also some really cool ones. Even if it's not 100% where we want to be. We are trying to still appreciate the body - in all its stages. Tell the people! -ASHLEIGH

Is it for you?
1:1 Nutrition Coaching is perfect for my people who are tired of second guessing their own approach to health and fitness. You'd like to think it can feel easier than what you've been trying so far, but also feel like you "don't have it together enough” to start.
More than anything, it'd just be nice to finally feel good and have confidence in your approach without getting wrapped up in "sweating the small stuff."
I really just want to say thank you. I think I came into this season with you feeling like I needed to have things together which is dumb...that's literally why you're here! Thanks for your patience with me! And for helping me give myself a little grace. -K

Hey, I'm Michelle. I've been in the industry almost 6 years and have plenty of online + in person experience that heavily impacts the way I coach.
By now you’ve likely read through hundreds of coaching bios and sales pages swearing that they are the thing you’ve been missing from your life that will fix you.
I might be that for you. You might “vibe” with someone else as a human more.
A brief call post application is the perfect way to find out.
1:1 coaching is an incredibly high ticket offering because it’s a personal investment on the coaches' part. Good coaching requires your coach to be fully present and give the client the time that’s needed to actually read between the lines, ask the right questions, pursue the education required for the job, and also tweak just enough to ensure client results.
It ends up being a huge investment for YOU, the client, because it does take time and energy to submit check-ins weekly, monitor and track data, and learn about yourself. It’s effortful.
With that being said, I can ALSO say, I’m good at this shit. A while ago, a former client of mine gave me a call in regards to helping a personal friend and in that conversation they shared, “I saw the most progress when I worked with you. You took everything I thought I knew and flipped it on its head.”
I find GREAT joy in guiding clients through dismantling years of personal beliefs around themselves, their capability, food rules, sticking with something long term, finding freedom in practices, and confirming that “yes, you can have corn even while in a deficit” (because apparently there’s programs out there telling you the opposite).

Based on what you fill out in the intake form and your current life situation and past experiences, I aim to present a plan that feels doable and appealing for you. I want it to feel somewhat collaborative because obviously I don't live in your life.
Essentially, we'll want to take a whole lifestyle look at stress, sleep, nutrition, movement, digestion, etc. in order for you to hit the goals you've listed as being most important. HOW that looks will vary but ultimately needs to feel like something that's within reach for you.
check-ins
Weekly check ins from me are usually reviewing your past week's data, your weekly check in form, providing support to anything that felt hard, any and all mindset aspects (self efficacy, self sabotage, emotional eating, etc), teaching on any questions you have, and giving guidance on any changes.
I typically send a loom video of me talking to you which averages from 10-20 minutes as well as a bulleted email. My clients in the past have enjoyed this type of feedback.
lab work
If lab work is something you're wanting to have done or if we see you're displaying symptoms of something we'd like to see numbers on, then yes I can help order those and read them for you.
It is an extra cost (a few hundred dollars in most cases) so that depends on the urgency of your symptoms and what you're wanting! There's plenty we can do to get started without seeing them based on symptoms.
The only people legally able to write meal plans for people are registered dieticians. Since I am not that, I cannot write you a meal plan, but will point you to my favorite recipe accounts, share some easy ideas, walk you through my process of weekly meal planning (if desired), and provide general education on knowing what's in your food and how to navigate those decisions.
At the end of the day, I'm guessing it might feel appealing to you to have built the skills to go on a vacation, trips, or special outings without struggling with food decisions or worrying about being "off plan" so my aim is to help clients get to that point.
Counting macros specifically is not required, but monitoring intake in SOME way is going to be wildly beneficial to help us make any changes to your protocol.

I know that you're technically not my coach anymore, but you'll always be the human who changed my outlook on eating. Look at dis. This is because of what you teach. Now I'm crying. On the left was the first ever check in with you, and on the right is me this morning. Pretty sure I weigh almost exactly the same in the two pictures. You're a boss at what you do. Love you. - ESTHER

For entertainment purposes, I scroll through Tik Tok and see all of these "health coaches" and "health influencers." It's kind of amusing that a lot of them just think they are the authority on everything. In the meantime they are advising 1200 calorie restrictions with 3x/week high intensity training or the intermittent fasting is quite the hype. I'm just sitting back thinking wow... I have the best coach ever and I eat 1800+ calories per day. That all sounds like a "no thanks" for me. The way I am approaching this is very positive. My body seems to be responding well as evidenced by my increased energy and even in my bloodwork. It just breaks my heart that some people get easily sucked into these fad diets that end up wrecking their metabolism and jacks with hormones. It's not sustainable and it never ends well. -JAIME

I really enjoyed my 6 months. I wish somebody had taught me all this a long time ago! I remember about half way through I thought I was missing something. And Michelle asked if I thought it was too easy. And honestly yes. It is almost too easy once you have it figured out! I'm a busy wife and mom and I work away from home. If I can do it and add it to my life... anybody can! -client wishes to remain anonymous

I can't thank you enough for the support and education over the past 9+ months! This really has been life changing for me. I've always been the "skinny/small" one but never the fit or strong one and it is such a beautiful feeling! I have confidence in the gyn to lift on my own and had never had that before! Not really the the ability to see my muscles in the mirror lol. I look at them wayyy too often. Also I forgot to comment on the lack of migraines!! When I started with you I was having many migraines a month and now I honestly can't even remember the last one I've had. This is itself is lifechanging to not have to go to the doctor for meds to fix this! I also never thought I'd be able to get in shape during such a busy time in my life but you helped me build the habits to remover the excuse of "after XYZ I'll do it". It can be done in any season of life!! - RUTH

In honor of Thanksgiving I just have to say I'm very grateful to have you guiding me! I have to say, my previous coaching would have had me at 1,300 calories so the facct that we can literally discuss maintenance calories at 2200 is so refreshing! Even though I'm obviously having a hard time with this current package, I'm so grateful to be guided through this without this restriction eating mindset. So thank you! You're going to stuck with me for another year once we get to March! - ALICIA

I can’t believe this is my last check in. When I started this journey the end felt so far away! My outlook on macros, maintenance and cutting have been completely transformed. Looking back on what I thought I’d get out of this versus what I did are completely different. Going into this I was so focused on the cutting portion that I didn’t realize how much I’d learn by just sticking with it and showing up every week. I knew I’d need a coach to do that to hold me accountable and I really appreciate you for being there every step of the way. I’ve truly felt very comfortable sharing this journey with you and being vulnerable. -KATE

No questions this week, but I did have my annual rheumatology appointment today and it was amazing. I have been off of immunosuppressants for 2 years now and all of my labs are completely normal. I have a rare autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis. My Creatinine Kinase at one point was over 10,000. This was when I was at my worst. Today it is 65. My blood pressure has been the best it has been in a while. My metabolic panel was all normal. I really think that this adjusted lifestyle of nutrition and exercise has been a game changer for me. I find this very sustainable as I do not give up anything. I am finding ways to make all foods fit. I can even throw some wine or a vodka/soda. My rheumatologist was very pleased to hear what I have been doing and very much supports my nutrition and fitness goals. - JAIME

Your thoughtfulness and compassion and positivity and cheerleader-capabilities really make the hardest parts easier Michelle. I always find myself smiling at your responses and a bit cheerier afterward for the day. There is loads to be said about surrounding yourself with really good people and the positive affects and you're pretty amazing. I hope many people in your life help to fill your cup each day. - JULIE

Miscellaneous, but I'd just like to say THANK YOU [again] for being a confidante and a great coach. When I'm doing check-ins or forms or whatever, it is really easy to want to hide the ugly parts and pretend that all is going well, but its so refreshing and comforting to know that the response is never going to be omg what's wrong with you, why are you like that, etc. Fear says I'm going to be judged harshly for the ugly parts, but you don't and I just want you to know that its really, really appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed. -MORGAN

It's getting easier and easier to just do the best I can with logging foods not prepared at home and moving on, not focusing on the fact that it's not perfect. It felt good being the person on m team to be drinking a protein shake at the airport Thursday morning instead of a donut like the rest of the team, or suggesting Wednesday night that we should start with the salad before ordering the deep dish pizza, etc. I was also the one suggesting walking to/from dinner and the hotel and I can tell that I was the one motivating some of my team with it. - HEATHER

Still working on accepting that rest when it is needed. You have helped me realize that stress in my system is not good for my over all. I might not feel stressed or feel this is "normal" however my insides feel differently and I need to listen to what triggers that. Less is more mentality. -MICHELE
